BIO - Rob G. Reid

Rob Reid is a published author, minister, teacher, and aspiring scholar. Yet his greatest joy is his wife, Christine, and two children Micam and Gennavieve. His most recent book Recover All: A Guide for Families in Understanding Addiction (Wipf and Stock, 2007) is setting a new paradigm in how families of those who are addicted are being educated. Rob has a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Southwestern Assemblies of God University and is currently in his final year of study for a Master of Theology (Th.M.) degree at Dallas Theological Seminary with plans to pursue doctoral studies in the field of New Testament and Christian origins. His research interests include religious epistemology, historical Jesus studies, postcolonialism, ideological criticism, and pseudapigraphical, apocalyptic, and Apostolic writings.

He has served as senior pastor at House of Isaiah in Mabank, TX. There he led services 5 days a week for over three years. He has traveled extensively throughout North America with his friend and mentor Isiah Robertson, former All-Pro Linebacker for the Los Angeles Rams and Buffalo Bills. Rob has lectured on various topics outside religious studies including: Leadership, Character Development, Addiction and Recovery, and Navigating Parenthood for the Addicted.

In 2002, Rob founded Redeemed Life/Rob Reid Ministries a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to proclaiming the liberating message of the Gospel of Jesus through every available medium.
